Y-Axis is stuck to the top or bottom

Hello,

I am currently using FSSB R3+ and having an issue with Y-axis.
Recently, I have built a new PC system and installed Win 10.
After installing all the necessary software and drivers my FSSB worked just fine for a few hours.
Then suddenly the Y-axis is stuck to the bottom or top and it did not respond to any y-axis movement.
I tried every possible method including driver and firmware reinstall to fix the problem but not successful so far..
First time I thought it might be an issue with my new PC but when I tried the stick on the old PC the symptom is just the same.
It has been less than one year since I purchased this wonderful product and has been just fine but now it is unusable due to the issue.

So, my question is:

1. Is there any possible way to do a factory reset to the device or fix the problem software-wise?
2. If I have to send it back to RS, repair cost will be covered by manufacturer's warranty?
