Hi,
I have a FSSB R3 Lightning, had it for a few years now, super happy.
Today I tried the AER firmware, it didn't work for me so I reverted to MJF.
However now the stick seems to be off center. The re-calibration using the trigger (tried both stage) does not help.
Attached is a picture taken from the HID Device Tool.
What should I do to fix this?
Thanks!

Re: Calibration issue FSSB R3 Lightning
Hi please.
Try to adjust again with RCA to OFF Nasa to 100, if now you can reset the cero, its a firmware bug, detected by Jef few days a go, and will be fixed in the next release.
If not, let me know your firmware and hardware settings.
Thanks

Re: Calibration issue FSSB R3 Lightning
I forgot, the bug its related with the RCA (roll control assistance) in the AER you maybe has activate the RCA and now in the MJF its active and its the problem, so please install again the AER and set RCA to off, then do the calibration, and if the neutral position its OK, restore the MJF firmware.
In the next firmware release, most of this parameters will be included inthe MJF and the bug fixed.

Hi,
I did what you recommended and it worked perfectly. Here's what I did:
I have an unrelated question: I love the RCA feature of the AER, but I need TMS and DMS to be mappable; is there q way to get the best of both world?
Thank you SO much for your prompt, most useful and extremely easy to follow answer, super happy customer here!
I did what you recommended and it worked perfectly. Here's what I did:
- 1. Re-install AER firmware
2. Both NASA to 100%, RCA off.
3. Re-calibrate, with dead center results
4. Re-install MJF firmware
5. Reset my NASA to my settings
6. Re-calibrate, with dead center results
- (with MJF firmware installed and bug active)
1. Turn both BFA off.
2. Use SMM + first stage trigger to re-center
3. Re-engage BFA to desired level
(bug verified active, same procedure with BFA full would result in error shown in the picture in my first post)

Re: [SOLVED] Calibration issue FSSB R3 Lightning
Also, its worth mentioning that after calibration, Roll Sensitivity and Pitch Sensitivity gets reset to default.
So, putting back the numbers to previous lower pressure, Center goes off center.(1-2% error on both X and Y)
