hello,
Just received my R3L today, but as I go to plug it in I get a "Device Descriptor Request Failed", the base gives a quick chirp, windows atmepts the drivers again but return with the same error, "Device Descriptor Request Failed".
Sort of at a loss here after troubleshooting the OS. Has anyone else ran up against an issue with this?
Thank you
*EDIT* included the drivers that it's attempting to using, legacy indeed.

Re: Device Descriptor Request Failed
i guess that version number is just the code for it not getting the descriptor.
Really can't come up with something else. reinstalled the USB drivers, cleansed the registry and file system. Really anything short of just reformatting the drive and start over with the OS.
Might need to see about finding another pc with win10 to test it on, not the best time in the world to spontaneously visiting people.

Re: Device Descriptor Request Failed
Same behaviour on another pc. Will i be able to manually point it at the correct driver or will the controller need to be re-flashed? Am I able to do that myself or will it ned to be returned to you?

Re: Device Descriptor Request Failed
this issue was related to a bad cable, so it's resolved.
