Lightning Upgrade Kit for Original FSSB R3

As far as I understand, the new FSSB R3 Lightning differs from the original FSSB R3 by using an improved PCB and some LEDs, but the force sensor is exactly the same.

Hence I'm wondering if RS could offer an upgrade kit (new PCB + LEDs) to their customers that bought the original R3. Is this possible? Are there any plans for the future?

I'd just like to chime in and say I'd love to purchase an upgrade kit as well. I have the original FSSB R3, and having the opportunity to upgrade would be wonderful. Great news that such a kit is being worked on, and a huge thanks to philux for making the suggestion. Also, a great big thank you to the Real Simulator company for agreeing to offer such a kit to their customers.

I too would be very interested in an upgrade kit and would be willing to pay for the convenience of not having to send my FSSB R3 back.
