Alternate button for precision mode

I have had my new R3 lightning for a few days. I really love it thanks.. I will preface this with I mainly use my r3 for Star Citizen. One thing I really wish I could do would be to be able to choose any button even on a secondary joystick to control the precision mode. I find that even the action of pressing the precision button throws off my aim since I like it sensitive fly with my finger tips. If I would program a button on a different joystick or hotas to engage the precision mode that would be HUGE!!!!!
