Well the installation took about 5 seconds. Pull the old switch out and push the new one in place. So far so good but I’ll need to do some flying to see how it feels. It is smaller than the stadium shaped switch for sure, and much smaller than the castle switch on the Thrustmaster F/A-18 grip.

The DMS castle switch is completely different from the Sensor castle switch on the Hornet. Below is a picture of a real one. From the pics it looks right to me but maybe a smaller diameter than the one I have from Debolestis. Either way the shape and style is accurate.

Hi the cup I have send you its exact like the real one. same diameter, height and position in the grip.

The stadium we provide with the grip its the old fashion shape, there are a newer version with the same diameter than the actual castle I have sent you.

AS you have seen the quality of this cup its not the same than the cup included in the grip, but I believe its enough.

Enjoy the cup.

No issues so far. Been doing A10-C Op Piercing Fury with my friend (who flies a tag-along Hornet) which utilizes a lot of that switch for TAD and TGP operations and it’s been great. Of course that switch isn’t authentic for the A-10C but it is good to have choices. When I start getting into the F-16 seriously it will be very handy.

Supmua,

How difficult was it to get the DMS separated from the grip? Did you simply grab and pull with your hand or did it require pliers?

I definitely want one. Just need a price and somewhere to click BUY.

Grab and pull, literally took <5 seconds to take it out the easiest mod I’ve ever installed. It’s been working great without any clicking issues. I think Dragon should green light this, I wouldn’t mind paying for a slightly higher quality version myself.
