R3L bizarre Y-axis behavior

Post by GK61 »

This isn't mine but from an acquaintance who's desperate for help, it's my opinion that it's electrical in nature and probably a repair issue. Anyhow have a look:

the issue at hand (posted elsewhere) seems to be resolved, with a FW flash to current MJW.

I am the one who has had this issue. Each time the issue resolved on its own. I'm not sure if its some process in the firmware that is calibrating it or its a windows issue that has cleared up somehow. Either way its very odd and I hate not knowing what the cause or resolution is. Are there any logs that get written that can be reviewed?

download TeamViewer and PM Dragon to set up a time to meet, he's very accommodating.
