Use Warthog board or not
Just received an FSSB R3 and reading through the manual it says I can use it as a stand alone without taking the warthog board out of my current warthog base. Will I have any issues in DCS or IL-2 as stand alone?

Re: Use Warthog board or not
Hi Roger,
Absolutely no issues, people mount the warthog board to use TARGET profiles. If you will use the R3 only for the X/Y axes and the associates features, then it is not necessary.
Best regards,
Shark

I hink Roger means The Steel Square Mounting Board that's attached to the Warthog Base?
I use the Warthog Board and have no issues using it with The R3 Lightning base

Re: Use Warthog board or not
One downside of not using the Warthog PCB is that simulators tend to gave preset bindings for Warthog but not for FSSB, but if you're fine re-doing the binding yourself I think it's cleaner to just use the FSSB standalone.
