Just got new F16SGRH, screwed it in, and:
Press TMS - nothing registers
Press DMS - nothing registers
Up down left right work
Pinky switch - left/right nothing registers, pressing does register
Trim CMS WR - all five positions register
Only seeing R3 under devices?

OK, went back one firmware for the R3, 4_00_1, and now
all switches are recognized.
Left post up in case someone else has the problem.

Thanks, had the same problem and with the older firmware all buttons are getting recognized.
