FSSB spare adapter needed

Post by Her_Seung »

Hello.

I recently made a goofy mistake of overtorquing the screw on the adapter.
As a result I smoothed out one of the four threads on the adapter.
Since my adapter is now held by only 3 screws, I believe my FSSB cannot be used without risking further damage.

It appears only damaged part is the adapter. Everything else works perfectly fine.

I wonder if I can order a replacement adapter (and possibly extra screws) instead of shipping the whole unit for repair (since the angled adapter is on sale).

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I previously submitted inquiry through the website and email (general_inf@realsimulator.com).
However, I haven't received any reply yet and I worry they might not have been reached. I'm hoping to get help soon.

Dear Her_Seung,

Your issue is easily solvable, you just have to use a longer M4 screw. The hole is deeper than the screw used. Surely you will have to thread a little more to have more threads and improve the fixation.

Thank you for the reply.
looks like i'll have to buy some tap and screws :D

Still, it would be nice to know if it's possible to procure individual parts such as spare adapter.
I have tendency to break things in a rather unusual way...

Thanks.
