Any advantage to using the TM WH PCB?

Post by G'n'G »

I initially thought the TM WH PCB was a requirement to making this operational, however, it seems that this isn't the case and I can just use the TM WH stick, connect it to the FSSB R3 base, then use the supplied USB cable to connect to the PC. So what is the advantage/disadvantage of using the TM WH PCB?

Thanks!

I run my FSSB Lightning base with the Warthog PCB swapped in. its pretty great IMO. It completely mimics the TM base such that even advanced TARGET profiles (with for example , hot-swappable setups like HomeFries' CTS software that allows you to run all DCS jets from a single profile) while still delivering that totally different force-sensitive solution.
I highly recommend it if youre using Target profiles at all, as even the Virpil/VKB options for base-swapping have problems with Target that allows stateful multi-device profiles (supporting MFDs and HOTAS in one single shift-aware virtual device)
